Delhi to host Aerodrome India 2008
Spread across an exhibit space of 6,000 square metres, the three-day event will see over 100 exhibitors from 18 countries.
The third edition of Aerodrome India, an international exhibition and seminar for airport infrastrucutre, security and airport operations in India, would be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from April ten.
Spread across an exhibit space of 6,000 square metres, the three-day event will see over 100 exhibitors from 18 countries, a 40 per cent increase compared to the previous edition, according to PDA Trade Fairs.
PDA Trade Fairs is organising the event jointly with the Airports Council International, Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries and the Aeronautical Society of India, its Chiarman and CEO, Pradeep Devaiah said.
The three-day international seminar at Aerodrome India 2008, being organised concurrently with the exhibition, would address the overall theme "sustainable strategies for consolidation and growth in the Indian civil aviation sector", Devaiah said.
Country pavilions at the exhibition include Australia and The Netherlands. More than 50 industry professionals would address the seminar.
Topics to be discussed at the seminar include development of dedicated cargo hubs and cargo airports, connectivity issues, airport security and operations, customer services and airport as economic gateways.
