Downey Jr. hints Iron Man 3 in pipeline
Hollywood star Robert Downey Jr, who returns to the role of Tony Stark in the second instalment of the movie reveals that there will be a third Iron Man movie.
Downey Jr. returns to the role of Tony Stark in the second instalment of the movie, two years after finding huge success with the character and despite the second movie having only just been released on Friday, he admits that a third movie is already in the pipeline but only after The Avengers movie, reports celebrifi.com.
"I think it's (Iron Man 3) going to go down. (The Avengers is) supposedly first on (Marvel Entertainment's) docket. I have some pretty strong ideas, but they never seem to be too discordant with what the creative executives at Marvel are thinking anyway," he said.
"It's all there. There's a little bit of a bunch of different storylines from different decades (in the comics)," he added.
Iron Man was a surprise success two years ago, being one of the lesser known Marvel characters, as it broke through $100 million in the opening weekend in America.
