Exams cancelled at 17 centres in Alld, Kaushambi
THE EXAMINATION of various papers have been cancelled at 17 exam centres in Allahabad and Kaushambi districts by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad on the ground of mass copying at these centres.

According to the Parishad Secretary Basudev Yadav some papers of High School and Intermediate examinations at eight examination centres in Kaushambi and nine centres in Allahabad were cancelled by Parishad following reports of mass copying by examinees there.
The examination of High School Hindi II paper, Inter Hindi-II and General Hindi of Satya Narayan Inter College Uruwa (Meja), Inter-II General Hindi paper of Ishwardeen Chedilal Inter College, Jasra, High School Social Science Ist paper of Janta Kanya UM Vidyalaya, Meja, High School Hindi-II of Mohammedia UM Vidyalaya, Baraut (Handia), Inter English –I paper of Public Inter College Manauri, Inter English –I paper of MR Sherwani Inter College, Sallahpur, High School Social Science–I and II paper of Mahabal Singh Inter College Lehrai (Meja), High School Social Science –I and II paper of of Uchatar Madhyamik Vidyalaya Koraon and High School Social Science –I paper of RD Memorial College Abubakarpur were cancelled in Allahabad.
Similarly, in Kaushambi district, the examinations of High School Hindi-II paper of Maheshwari Prasad Inter College, Alamchandra, High School Social Science II paper of Late Chandrapal Singh UM Vidyalaya, Rasoolpur (Ajhuwa) and Puja Inter College Meriamai, Inter Hindi I paper of Janta Inter College, Bharsawa, High School Hindi –II paper of Hublal Inter College, Bharwari, Inter Hindi-III paper and General Hindi paper of Adarsh Inter College, Sarai Akil and Inter Hindi-III paper of Bramhachari Inter College, Tilahapur were cancelled by the Parishad in the wake of mass copying found by the flying squad during sudden inspection of these centres.
Secretary said that the fresh dates of the cancelled papers had been declared.
These examination papers would now be held between April 7 and 13, 2006.
However, the centres would be declared by the concerned District Inspector of Schools that would be either Government Inter Colleges or other reputed colleges of the districts.
Besides Allahabad and Kaushambi, the examination papers of two colleges each in Kanpur Dehat , Chandauli, Bhadohi, Sant Kabir Nagar, Muzaffarnagar and Jhansi, three in Kushi Nagar, six in Gorakhpur, five in Deoria, one each in Lucknow, Basti, Shravasti, Azamgarh, Aligrah, Agra and Moradabad and four in Shahjahanpur were cancelled following the report submitted by the flying squads that mass cheating had taken place there.
