Fire at steel market in Navi Mumbai

A fire broke out at the steel market in Kalamboli in the neighbouring city of Navi Mumbai, fire brigade officials said on Monday.

The fire fighting operations had begun at around 0500 hrs and operations were still on, a fire official from the Kalamboli fire brigade told PTI.

The fire destroyed the market place but there were no injuries or deaths due to it, he said.
