Five Hindus shot dead by terrorists in J&K

Suspected terrorists forced five Hindus out of their homes and made them assemble in the village ground and opened fire on them on Friday.

In a pre-dawn attack, suspected terrorists on Friday shot dead five members belonging to Hindu community and injured four others in Rajouri district, defence officials said.
Four terrorists barged into houses of some minority community members in Panglar village of Rajouri district at around 0200 hours, officials told the media.
The terrorists forced the people out of their houses and made them assemble in the village ground and opened fire on them, they said.

Two persons, who managed to escape from the scene, informed the Army officials who rushed to the spot. However the terrorists escaped even before Army personnel could reach the scene.

The injured were shifted to the Base Hospital. Senior district and police officials have rushed to the area.
