Delhi Wizards had a taste of Pune Strykers' firepower in a World Series of Hockey match at the National Stadium on Saturday. The visitors outplayed the home team 3-1.
After winning their first engagement against the Karnataka Lions on Friday, home advantage didn't work for the Rajpal Singh-led side, as an early strike by Strykers' Mario Almada dented their hopes.
Trailing by a goal in the opening quarter, the Wizards came back in the second when Philip Sunkel drew parity, Thereafter the Strkers' goalkeeper, Gurpreet Singh, saved the day with some agile saves and proved to be big hurdle in Delhi's path to victory.
