Home Sec Madhukar Gupta discusses the nitty-gritty of the security arrangement with officials of Delhi Police, Indian Olympic Association, Intelligence and Home Ministry.

With just two days left for the Olympic torch relay run in the capital, the Union Home Ministry on Tuesday held a high-level meeting to finetune the security arrangements to ensure that the brief event passed off peacefully.
Home Secretary Madhukar Gupta discussed the nitty-gritty of the security arrangement at an hour-long meeting attended by Delhi Police chief Y S Dadwal, Indian Olympic Association General Secretary Randhir Singh and senior intelligence and Home Ministry officials.
After the meeting, Dadwal declined to divulge the arrangements only saying that everything would be in place.
Randhir Singh said that he was confident that the event would pass off peacefully and all security concerns have been addressed.
The Olympic torch relay ceremony had run into trouble in London and Paris when hordes of Tibetan supporters had disrupted the run.
