India names Azad Singh Toor as envoy to Madgascar

India on Wednesday named senior IFS officer Azad Singh Toor as the Ambassador to Madgascar.

Toor, currently Joint Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, is expected to take up his new assignment shortly.
