Gopal Blah Nair, 46, suffered severe leg fractures and internal bleeding after he was crushed by a reversing vehicle on Wednesday, media reports said.

He was admitted to the BDF Hospital in a critical condition and was operated on, but died later, it said.
The Gulf Daily News quoted some witnesses as claiming there was a grudge between the Bahraini driver of the vehicle and Nair, but this was dismissed as untrue by their company.

"The tanker was transporting water and reversing and he (Nair) suddenly walked behind it," the report said quoting company officials. The driver, 29, had been questioned by police.
