Indian employees stage protest

Employees of Indian were on a two-and-half hours as part of the nation-wide protest demanding payment of wage arrears.
Employees of Indian affiliated to the Air Corporation Employees Union (ACEU) abstained from duty for about two-and-half hours on Wednesday morning at the international airport in Thiruvananthapuram as part of the nation-wide protest demanding payment of wage arrears.
The employees "walked out of duty" from 9 am to 11.30 am, union sources said. However, there were no flight services during the period of the agitation, they said.

Operation department and reservation front line officers were among those who took part in the protest.
