The opening of an international seminar coincides with an unexpected leaking of smoke from the cracks in the walls of a ruined ammunition depot in the city.
Suffering from the effects of chemical war, Rahim is commissioned to detonate the explosives that have remained in the depot since wartime. Along with him, a woman journalist named Sara enters the city to do a reportage on the seminar.

Director's bio-note:
Born in Birjand in 1960, Mohammad Hossein Haghighi is a graduate of petrochemistry from Tehran Polytechnic. He began making documentaries on the activities of people's constructive movement in the southern province of Khuzistan after the establishment of the Islamic Republic.
When the Iran-Iraq war broke out, he joined the Iranian forces at the front and made several documentaries as well as TV programmes. His debut feature, Desert Symphony (1993), won awards at the Damascus Festival.
Haghighi is the former Managing Director of the Farabi Cinema Foundation and a former member of the Tehran City Council. His other films include The Sundust (1996) and The Moon and the Sun (1997).
