Links between ULFA and ISI : Government

Government on Tuesday said there were links between ULFA and Pak-based ISI.

According to available reports and revelation of arrested ULFA cadres, ULFA has links with Pakistani intelligence agency ISI, Minister of State for Home S Regupathy said while replying to a written question.

He said reports also indicate that some Indian insurgent Groups of North-Eastern states were having camps and shelters in Bangladesh.

Security: A high level Expert Committee has been appointed by the Centre to review the Policy of Personal Security, Minister of State for Home Sriprakash Jaiswal said.

The report of the Committee was presently awaited, he added.
