Long distance trains from Mumbai remain cancelled

Except two trains -- one each to Pune and Solapur -- all long distance trains leaving from Mumbai stand cancelled, Central Railway said on Friday.

Except two trains -- one each to Pune and Solapur -- all long distance trains leaving from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CST), Dadar terminus and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) here stand cancelled, Central Railway said on Friday.

The 2123 CST-Pune Deccan Queen Express, which was scheduled to leave at 5.10 pm, will leave at 7.10 pm on Friday while the 1423 CST-Solapur Siddheshwar Express will depart at 11.20 pm as per schedule, CR Public Relations Officer AK Singh said in a release.

No other trains will leave Mumbai on Friday, he said.

Meanwhile, all the suburban trains in central (main) and harbour lines were restored on Thursday night, the release said adding, the trains are, however, leaving at a frequency of 30-45 minutes.
