I feel very sorry for BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani. Not because his Party did badly in the elections but because minions within the BJP and people outside it, have started rubbishing him.

All through last year I have watched some of my colleagues bend over backwards to pay obeisance to him. Not because they liked him but because he was then potentially Prime Minister in waiting. I also watched his critics seeking appointments because they figured it was better to reopen channels with someone who may occupy South Block.
