MANIT boy wins HT Snakes & Ladders contest

He was speaking at the prize distribution ceremony of Hindustan Times Snakes & Ladders competition held at Hotel Arch Manor, where he was the chief guest. State Bank of India’s deputy general manager S Shridhar, S Saran and public relations officer Jalaluddin were the special invitees on the occasion.
Hindustan Times resident editor Askari H Zaidi delivered the welcome speech while general manager Fehmi Husain proposed the vote of thanks.
A student of MANIT (III Year), specialising in the mechanical stream, Harshit Gour who won the first prize in the competition, was presented a laptop by the chief guest.
The first runners up were presented desktop computers. They are Tony Mathew (student of B Pharma, SIRT College, Bhopal), Dr S N Shrivastava (practicing doctor) and Sachin Gupta (young entrepreneur from Indore).
Shivani Sharma (class IX student, Carmel Convent School), Sunaina Deo (w/o retired Brig Deo) and Dr V K Agarwal (running his own hospital) were the second runners up. They were presented Nokia 6600 mobile phones each.
Those who won LG microwaves as the third runners up were S K Malik (working with the National Handloom Development Corp), Dr Kailash Agarwal (who is running his own hospital in Sehore) and Pravin Paturkar (working with the Madhya Pradesh Pollution Control Board).
Besides, 1,500 consolation prizes were also given away at the function. A large number of participants in the Hindustan Times Snakes & Ladders competition attended the function.
