Maoist rebels blew up a police post in Orissa's Malkangiri district on Sunday, police said. No one was injured. Around 20 guerrillas exploded the newly-constructed police post with dynamite at Mahupadar village in Malkangiri, about 700 km from Bhubaneswar.

"The post was constructed recently. No one was inside when the incident took place," district Superintendent of Police Satyabrata Bhoi told IANS.
Bhoi said the Maoist rebels also damaged another police post nearby.
"The rebels rushed to an old police post nearby and asked the three policemen on duty to vacate it. They then damaged it," he added.
