UP CM Mayawati says that her BSP will not have any alliance with any political outfit, especially the BJP, to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati said that her Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) will not have any alliance with any political outfit, especially the Bharatiya Janata Party, to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
"We will go alone to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. Even in future, the BSP will not form an alliance with the BJP or other parties," Mayawati told reporters in Lucknow in a press conference on Tuesday.

Mayawati rubbished the statement of the BJP's prime ministerial hopeful LK Advani during a rally in Kanpur June 27, hinting about a BSP-BJP alliance.
"It is a conspiracy of LK Advani and the BJP to distract the Muslim voters from the BSP, who have fixed great hope on the party," she said.
