Nandita Sengupta’s article 'Something sick on air' highlights the loopholes that exist, and it requires some introspection from the media’s side.
Nandita Sengupta’s article Something sick on air (July 11) was interesting and thought-provoking. But it disturbs me that the bar is being lowered so much and so fast on what can be published or broadcast. These are norms, and no amount of rules and regulations can change things. I feel relieved that someone from the media has also spoken out. It highlights the loopholes that exist, and it requires some introspection from the media’s side.
