With reference to the editorial The innocence of Dr Joshi (July 17), it is ridiculous of former HRD Minister to oppose the proposal to introduce sex education in schools.
With reference to the editorial The innocence of Dr Joshi (July 17), it is ridiculous of former HRD Minister Murli Manohar Joshi to oppose the proposal to introduce sex education in schools on the ground that this will corrupt students and teachers. His advice to parents to withdraw their children from CBSE schools is irresponsible. Sex education is a necessity in the modern context, that’s why all over the world the body system is an essential part of the school curriculum. Let’s not be retrogressive in our outlook to modern education.
