She attempts to pooh-pooh the showdown between her father Dharam Uberoi and uncle Sanjay Gupta over the promotion of Woodstock Villa.
"Whatever happened was between them and didn't involve me," she shrugs.
"I'm still in touch with my uncle.. I don't believe in mixing up my private and personal lives."
It is learnt that the actress, who was first seen in a segment of Uncle Gupta's Dus Kahaaniyan, has not even dubbed for Woodstock Villa.
"Yes but I was informed about this. I was busy shooting assignments in the south. But I was aware that my dialogue was being voiced by a dubbing artiste," she says coolly.
First-time lead
She adds that the film's director Hansal Mehta had convinced her that the dubbing would be beneficial for the film. She insists that she is very positive about the film in which she has her first lead role.
Neha has signed a movie being directed by Soham Shah toplining Sanjay Dutt, Mithun Chakraborty and Aamir Khan's nephew Imran Khan.
There's talk that her father intends re-launching her.
She says, "I can't say anything about that right now but as far as I'm concerned, Woodstock Villa is my debut film."
