Suspected Tamil Tiger rebels exploded two roadside bombs in Sri Lanka's northern Jaffna peninsula on Tuesday, officials said, killing one civilian and wounding 15 — including two schoolchildren.
One blast occurred near the garrison town of Jaffna and the other near a market in a small town along a highway that leads to a heavily guarded forward defence line separating government from rebel territory, officials said.
