Former Rajasthan chief minister Jagannath Pahadia will be sworn in as Haryana governor in Chandigarh on Monday. Pahadia, 77, will replace AR Kidwai whose term has ended.

He will be administered the oath of office and secrecy by Punjab and Haryana High Court Chief Justice Tirath Singh Thakur in Chandigarh.
The Haryana governor-designate was chief minister of Rajasthan from June 1980 till July 1981. As veteran Congress leader, he has held the position of a union minister of state too.
Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and other cabinet ministers will receive Pahadia when he arrives in Chandigarh on Monday.
