Arcus, at the Plaza mall, Gurgaon, offers everything for your home, proving to be a one-stop-shop for home improvement needs.

Home in on world class products. From cement, to wood products, to nails, to electrical wires, to sanitary ware, to kitchen appliances, to decorative lights, to bathroom tiles, to household accessories, to paints, to hardware, to security systems, Arcus, as marketing manager, Sandeep Shukla puts it, is a one-stop shop for all your home improvement requirements.

Launched three years back at the Plaza Mall, on the Mehrauli-Gurgaon Road, the store added another branch at High Street Phoenix, Lower Parel, Mumbai, in October 2003.

The target audience of the store, Shukla declares, is people who appreciate the finer things in life. “In management parlance, you could call them SEC A & B consumers. Anybody who’s building, renovating or furnishing his home, is our target customer,” says Shukla.

Another interesting service that the store offers is a directory of certified plumbers, carpenters and electricians. Consumers are free to choose the relevant craftsman and finalise the fees. “Our central objective is to encourage professionals to upgrade their living spaces to global standards. That is the central idea behind our user-friendly website that offers tips on estimation for paint jobs and Vaastu Shastra,” adds Shukla.
