Rajasthan's border with surrounding states would be sealed to thwart entry of "anti-social elements" during the day of the polls.
Rajasthan's border with surrounding states would be sealed for a period of time to thwart the entry of "anti-social elements" during the one-day Lok Sabha polls, official sources said in Jaipur on Thursday.
Some 110 companies of security forces, including 15 companies of the Gujarat Arms Constabulary, would also be deployed across the state to ensure free and fair and peaceful polls, sources said.

The same number of companies had been deployed during the December Assembly elections in the state, sources added.
