Remember the 5'11" tall Reshma Bombaywala sizzle in the remix of yesteryear number, Shahri Babu? Now the former rampscorcher is back to rock the audience in yet another item number, Marhaba, in Puneet Issar's film Sanghaar, starring Salman Khan.
"I heard the song and fell in love with it, and I honestly don't care if I am branded as an item girl! Frankly what's wrong with being sultry, sexy and increasing the heartbeat of millions," says Bombaywala.
After graduating in English Literature from St. Xavier's, Mumbai, Bombaywala was spotted by designer Sangeeta Chopra and, thereafter, there was no looking back. "I did several shows but soon got bored and wanted to do something exciting. So I decided to lip sing for a remix number, Shahri Babu. It became an instant hit," says Bombaywala.
Now she is looking forward to Sanhaar, which Bombaywala believes it's an great film, and an item number better than being the heroine of a C grade film that'll flop. "I'm not looking for Bollywood offers, if they happen well and good, otherwise there's no love lost. This certainly gets my adrenaline pumping," she says.
She is also assisting model Kelly Dorje set up his grooming school in Mumbai, where as a casting director, she will help models get work. "The idea is to train aspiring models everything from walking and talking to attitude and make up. It addresses all the needs of a wannabe model," she adds.
As to how she keeps fit, it's a mystery "as I love food specially Thai. I guess it's my metabolism, because I've never worked out, ever," concludes Bombaywala.
