Director's bio-note:
James Lee originally trained as a graphic designer at a Malaysian college and worked in the field for three years. A film buff from his early days but had no formal training and experience in filmmaking. Lee decided to concentrate on theatre where he worked mainly backstage but also as an actor and director. Room To Let is Lee’s third feature film. His other films include Snipers (2001), Ah Beng Returns (2001), and shorts: Survivor, Sunflowers and Ewan Kwan’s Tragic Breakfast (2002).
