Samsung to export 'Made in India' cells
The consumer electronics firm committed itself to make India the export hub of its telecom products.
Consumer electronics company Samsung, which began exports of its 'Made in India' mobile handsets to Dubai, on Monday committed itself to make India the export hub of its telecom products.
"MiddleEast is one of the chief growth markets for Samsung, primarily because of lower mobile penetration and higher ARPUs (average revenue per user). With Dubai, the company will soon start exporting to other Middle East and Asian countries, thereby increasing the company's market share and operating profit," Samsung Telecommunications India Managing Director H C Ryu was said in an official statement.
The handsets, which have been manufactured at company's Manesar plant, would in near future reduce the company's market reaction time and in the long run will bring down the cost of operations, Ryu said.
