Six drinking Kerala water projects cleared by centre

The union Government has given clearance to proposals submitted by two panchayats in the district for six drinking water projects, totally worth Rs 84.08 lakh.

Two projects worth Rs 29.03 lakh come under the Marangattupilly panchayat. The remaining four, in Ramapuram panchayat, were worth 55.05 lakh, an official press release said on Tuesday.

District collector A Ajit Kumar discussed the implementation of the projects at a meeting of the district water sanitation mission here, the release added.
