BAD NEWS for all those students who are planning to use unfair means during the compulsory maths paper in the board exams. The district administration has decided to depute static magistrates, apart from police force, at every examination centre on March 28 and April 3 to ensure that no student uses unfair means in the maths paper.
The directions to this effect have already been issued to the officers concerned. Besides, the district magistrate will also make surprise inspections of the examination centres to maintain the sanctity of the board exams.
A meeting-cum-training programme of 120 static magistrates was also recently held at the Vikas Bhawan. Presiding over the meeting, additional district magistrate (administration) KP Pandey said the static magistrates would have to stay at the examination centre and ensure that the maths exam was held without copying. If there was any such incident, information should be immediately given to DIOS Mahendra Singh Yadav on his mobile number 9415645398, he said.
“The static magistrate will also have to see that the security personnel leave the centre only after the answer books are properly sealed,” he said.
