The incident took place at 8pm. The driver of the car, Ramesh, who was returning after dropping DLF staff at their offices in sectors 4 and 7, gave lift to the accused.
Some time later, one of the passengers pulled out a gun and asked the driver to stop. One of the robbers took control of the wheel while the rest tied up Kumar and pushed him to the back seat.
They drove towards Beri village near Jhajjar where Kumar was pushed out of the car around 1am.
After reaching Gurgaon, Kumar registered a case at the Sector 5 police station.
"We suspect the men come from an area near Jhajjar. We are conducting raids there," said Sajjan Singh, SHO, Sector 5 police station.
The cases of carjacking are on the rise in the city. Early this month, two persons were robbed off their cars in different parts of the city.
