Unidentified men loot Scindia's private secy
The Guna MP's Assistant Private Secretary was looted and injured by unidentified men at Badarwas between Guna and Shivpuri districts.
Union Minister and Guna MP Jyotiraditya Scindia's Assistant Private Secretary was looted and injured by unidentified men at Badarwas between Guna and Shivpuri districts on Sunday night on the Agra-Bombay national highway.
The incident occurred when Scindia was returning to Gwalior from Guna after attending series of felicitation programmes following his induction into the Union Cabinet as Minister of State for Communications and IT, official sources said.
His APS identified as Purhottam Parashar, who was in a separate vehicle in the cavalcade of Scindia, was forced to stay back when his vehicle punctured on the national highway.
Four masked men reached the spot and started beating them and snatched valuables from them when they were changing the tyre of the vehicle, they said. The injured APS was rushed to Shivpuri for treatment.
Scindia expressed shock over the incident. He said he was surprised at the situation that prevailed in the region that not even spared his personal staff.
