The Sunni Central Waqf Board filed objections before the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court against the ASI's excavation report on Ayodhya.
The Sunni Central Waqf Board (SCWB) on Wednesday filed objections before the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court against the Archaeological Survey of India's excavation report carried out at the disputed site at Ayodhya.
The ASI report, submitted in the High Court on August 22, had claimed to have found remnants of a 10th century temple during the excavation.
Zaffaryab Jilani, SCWB's counsel, said objections were also filed on Wednesday in the concerned office by Haji Mahboob and Hashim Ansari, the contesting parties.
The Court had given six week's time to the contesting parties to file objections, if they had any.
The Special full bench of the Court, comprising Justice SR Alam, Justice Bhawar Singh and Justice Khem Karan will hear the petition on October 10.
