Wayne Rooney cuts the dance floor!

England soccer star Wayne Rooney appears to be on the road to recovering from his broken foot. Rooney was recently seen leading the dancing at a showbiz party hosted by his captain David Beckham and his wife Victoria.

"Wayne was really cutting it up on the dance floor. It must bode well for him taking part in the World Cup. There was absolutely no sign of crutches," The Sun quoted one of the guests at the party, as saying.

The Manchester United striker, who was accompanied to the party by his fiancee, Coleen McLoughlin, also shelled out 150,000 pounds at the event’s auction to spend a day in the exclusive Hamptons, New York, with rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs, who was also there.

About 350 guests attended the party at Beckingham Palace mansion in Hertfordshire in an event set to raise two million pounds for charity.

Most of the England football team was there. Joan Collins, Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne, Christian Slater, Jodie Kidd, England cricket hero Freddie Flintoff, Lulu, Tory leader David Cameron, Sarah Ferguson and Jade Jagger were the other VIPs who attended.

The party — called the Full Length And Fabulous Ball — will be screened on ITV1 on Sunday from 9 p.m. to 10.30 p.m.
