Saji George was detained at the city's domestic airport for allegedly trying to carry firearms on a flight to Kerala.
A woman was detained at the city's domestic airport on Saturday for allegedly trying to carry firearms on a flight to Kerala, police said.
Saji George was detained after a country-made revolver and some live rounds were found in her baggage during an X-ray checking before boarding the flight at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai, they said.

"She claims that the weapon belongs to her brother. We are waiting for him to come and will decide upon the further course of action based upon the documents the brother produces," said a senior officer of the Airport police station.
