IPL 2017: Mumbai Indians aim to surpass their record six-match winning streak
When Mumbai Indians face Rising Pune Supergiant on Monday, the two-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champions will have an opportunity to extend their winning streak to seven matches which has never been achieved before by the team.
Mumbai Indians are on a roll. After their loss in the opening match to Rising Pune Supergiant in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017, Mumbai Indians have won the next six matches. Their win over Delhi Daredevils on Saturday equalled their best winning streak in the IPL. The last time they won six consecutive games was in the 2008 IPL.
When Mumbai Indians face Rising Pune Supergiant on Monday at Wankhede Stadium, the two-time IPL champions will have an opportunity to extend their winning streak to seven which has never been achieved before by MI in the IPL ever.
Overall, Mumbai Indians have a better head-to-head count against Rising Pune Supergiant, winning two and losing one.

On Monday, Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma and Rising Pune Supergiant ex-captain MS Dhoni will play their 150th IPL match.Only Gujarat Lions skipper Suresh Raina (153) has appeared in more IPL matches.
Rohit played 45 matches for Deccan Chragers in first three seasons before joining Mumbai Indians in 2011.
Rising Pune Supergiant’s Mahendra Singh Dhoni featured in 129 matches for Chennai Super Kings between 2008 and 2015 and appeared in 20 matches for RPS.

Mumbai Indians’ star performer against Delhi Daredevils, Mitchell McClenaghan needs just two wickets to become the 46th bowler to take 150 wickets in T20. The left-arm fast-medium bowler claimed 148 wickets at 21.67 in 109 innings of 111 matches so far.
