"If Quattrocchi is let off (CBI has asked the Interpol to withdraw the Red Corner notice against the lone surviving suspect in Bofors payoff case), it will be harmful for the nation," Advani told reporters at the NSC Bose international airport in Kolkata.

Advani said that earlier also he had pointed out and still felt that Quattrocchi's release from the Bofors payoff case would be "against national interest".
The BJP leader was asked to comment on the Italian businessman's name being dropped from Interpol's 'wanted list' at the instance of CBI.
