HISTORY: Known as the Anglo-Scottish Education Society in 1860, the school got its present name—The Cathedral and John Connon in the 1900s. While originally the institute ran separate schools for boys and girls, the then principal Rev. Ridding decided to come up with a co-educational institute in 1965.
