An emotional Vaishali Omable said Kasab's execution should not be delayed as in the case Afzal Guru, who was sentenced to death in 2001 Parliament attack case.

"I am very happy today that Kasab was awarded death sentence. I welcome the sentence... He deserves it. Finally my father's sacrifice has paid off...," Vaishali told PTI.

"The 26/11 terror attacks accused hiding in Pakistan should be nabbed. The Indian government should ensure the arrest of all the accused involved in the attacks and they should be punished," she said.

Since the government has given top priority to completing court proceedings to convict Kasab, it should also try to execute the death penalty to the terrorist at the earliest.

Tukaram's cousin Navdeo Ombale said, "I am extremely happy that Kasab would be hanged for the heinous crime he committed. But the only wish we have now is that the execution should be delayed at any cost."
