Panic gripped parts of Kanjurmarg when a leopard reported to be on the loose around since last week was spotted yet again on Friday.

Hiramani Shukla, a resident of Indira Nagar chawl, spotted the leopard perched on a tree. The wild cat, however, disappeared in the dark when one of the locals flashed a torch at it.

It has been one week since the leopard was spotted entering the premises of Echjay Forgings Industries, at Kanjurmarg East. The pugmarks seen last Saturday revealed that the leopard is a female aged two to three years old. The company, meanwhile, has been forced to halt production during its night shift.
