“They all think he’s really cute and love him in his little Speedos.

“They know he’ll get a great reception from their fans and are confident he’ll be up for it - even in his Speedos,” the source said.

Olympic bronze medallist Daley had previously admitted that he had a Cheryl calendar on his bedroom wall, and revealed that he listened to her music to prepare for competitions.

After finishing third in the 10m platform diving final, Cole had sent him a message on Twitter saying: “Congratulations Tom. You did us all proud!! Now you should have some free time to teach me that dive!!”

The girls - Cole, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Nadine Coyle - first discussed the project in a top-secret meet at a London hotel in April.

It’s ten years this November since the group was put together on ITV show ‘Pop Stars: The Rivals’ and they want to have a proper celebration.

They’ll be playing at least 30 arena dates and bringing out new songs.
