During the chat, Paris played Hold My Hand, one of the songs that eventually appeared on the album, which was released in December 2010 - some 18 months after the pop icon’s death, the Daily Telegraph reported.

When one of her friends asked why the song did not sound like her father, she said that her father’s parts on the album were actually performed by sound-alike Jason Malachi.

“It’s not him ... the whole album isn’t even him! Go online ... go on YouTube and look up Jason Malachi. That’s him!!” she told the friend.

“I should know if it’s him or not because he would sing to me all the time,” she added, according to the gossip site.
