Pre-party for David Guetta fans in city
Get your drum and bass fix for this weekend with the Invasion festival’s pre-party, featuring acts like Bay Beat Collective and Bandish Projekt.
Just six days before the Grammy Award-winning DJ/artist David Guetta gets ready to perform in India at the Eristoff Invasion Festival, music lovers can look forward to a little extra in the city today. A pre-party, powered by UTV Bindass, will set the mood of the annual music event.
Bandish Projekt will open with their signature drum and bass and dubstep set weaved with Asian and fusion sounds, followed by Bay Beat Collective (BBC).Maintaining their reputation of keeping the party going, BBC plan to play some peppy tracks that will definitely have fans dancing through the night.
Lastly, B.R.E.E.D, who has evolved his musical disposition from a self-trained DJ and producer to an artist playing alongside many international stars such as Cold Cut, Freq Nasty, Howie B Shiva Soundsystem and international DJ Caspa will also perform.
Sohail Arora of BBC says, “We like playing a mash-up of bass heavy genres — from dubstep to drum and bass to glitch-hop. We’ll also play a lot of new music. It's going to be a great night as there’s a big lineup of different kinds of bass-heavy genres. There will also be a nice visual set by Spiffed.” B.R.E.E.D adds, “It's my first live performance at Hard Rock Café and I’ll unveil five tracks that are up for release this year alongside artists like Liquid Stranger, FreQ, Nasty and FS. I’m looking forward to some heavy raging tonight.”
