16 junior archers to take part in Asian Grand Prix

A 16-member Indian team will participate in the inaugural Asian Grand Prix Archery Championship for juniors, to be held in Bangkok from February 25 to March 1.

The championship would prepare the archers for the Junior World Championship and the 2010 Commonwealth Games, said Singh, also a joint secretary of the Archery Association of India.
The team: Recurve boys: Rajib Bsumatary, Anurag Kamal, Raju Adonda and Navdeep Singh Brara.
Recurve girls:
Nisha Dutta, Pratima Boro, Belamai Hansda and Pranitha Vardineni.
Compound boys: Sanjay Swansi, Deepak Karmakar, Renso Purty and Mibam Anup Singh.
Compound girls: Namita Yadav, Babita Bisai, Ashrit Kerketta and Majeer Kaur.
Coaches: Dharmendra Tiwary, Purnima Mahto, Helself, and Jeevan Jot Singh.
