Ravi Kumar and Bhola Thakur were admitted to the Nalanda Medical College and Hospital with injuries sustained in the police firing, to control the mob, and brick-batting. Ravi was critical and referred to the PMCH.

A recklessly driven private bus mowed down Abhishek Kumar alias Vikas(6), and Suraj Kumar(7), who were returning home after making purchases at a nearby shop. Immediately, locals blocked the Old Bypass road and disrupted vehicular traffic.

The protesters burnt the bus (BR01-4361), brutally beat up the driver and tried to push cleaner Pappu Rai into the flames.
Eyewitnesses said people also got furious with the late arrival of the police. A group attacked the police outpost, burnt a jeep, a Bolero, an auto-rickshaw and three bicycles.
