However, AAP supporters are upset. While some have offered help, others expressed anguish and questioned the transparency in the collection of donations.

“Due to increasing technical and other roadblocks… I am unable to maintain this website,” wrote Upadhyay.
AAP’s core website www.aamadmiparty.org, meanwhile, still asks people to visit the old weblink for details. After shutting down the site the online donations are shown simply as “Donations today: `7,36,540 by 378 donors. Total donations: `25,88,71,646 by 89,384 donors, from 112 countries, 37 states/UT.”

One Sanjeev Khurana posted, “Do you really mean that a transparent party like AAP would create such a situation? Take back your words else Sir Kejriwalji will label you as a BJPite.”

In reply to Khurana, Arijit Upadhyay posted, “Dear Mr Khurana, are you a technical person? If you are/were then you would understand the difficulties in maintaining a website of this volume just by data-scraping. My note just mentions that, where did issues of transparency come here...”
