AAP to contest all assembly seats in Punjab polls

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday said it would field its candidates in all the 117 seats of Punjab where Assembly elections are due in 2017 and ruled out any electoral understanding with Congress, BJP and the Akali Dal.

Party’s national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal would address the conference, he said. Chotepur, meanwhile, ruled out anyalliance or electoral understanding with the Congress, BJP and the Akali Dal in 2017 Punjab assembly elections.

Several senior leaders of other parties are keen to join Aam Aadmi party, he added.

Chotepur also said that some big guns will soon join AAP at the Muktsar rally in the presence of Kejriwal.

However, he refused to disclose their names.
