Another youth commits suicide in Jalandhar

A 25-year-old youth allegedly committed suicide by consuming sulphas tablets in his office on Thursday late evening. His family members told police that he was in depression for not getting promotion and it might be a reason behind the extreme step taken by him.

According to information, Sanjay Sidana, a resident of Dilbagh Nagar here, was working as a computer operator with ICICI Lombard general insurance and was posted in branch situated at BMC Chowk. His family members told police that Sanjay was in depression for not getting promotion and it might be a reason behind the extreme step taken by him.

The police have registered a case under section 174 of CRPC Act and handed over the dead body to his family after post-mortem examination.
