CBSE Class 12 result: Hargun Grover tops Amritsar with 98%

Amritsar boy Hargun Singh Grover of Spring Dale Senior School bagged the top position in the city by securing 98% in non-medical stream. Roshanpreet Kaur of Delhi Public School (DPS) scored 97.6% in medical and Amandeep Kaur of Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, GT Road, 97.6%, bagging the second position in the district collectively. In humanities, Mahima Mehra, a student of Spring Dale Senior School, scored 96 %.
A total of 274 students from Spring Dale School took the exam. Out of these, 71 have secured 90% and above marks.
In Amritsar, there were only a few schools that shared their results with the media , while a few chose not to because of the fee hike issue.
At The Senior Study II, more than 60 students scored above 90% and top scorers are Mansargun Kaur of non-medical stream with 97.2%, while commerce stream toppers from the school are Manik Sareen with 97.2% and Rahat Kaur with 97%. In medical stream, Harmandeep Singh secured 96.2%.
At Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, GT Road, Amandeep is the city topper in commerce, while Manmeet Kaur topped in the medical stream by scoring 96.6% and Manpriya Gill topped in non-medical stream with 95.8% and Harjot Kaur in humanities stream with 93%.
From Khalsa College Public School, the topper is Mehak Devgan with 95.8% in commerce stream.
At Spring Dale Senior School, Mishel Gupta topped in the school in medical stream with 95.4% marks, while Chahat Nanda topped in commerce by securing 96.8% and Mahir Bajaj scored 95.25%.
At DPS, Parneet Kaur scored 95% in commerce and Madhur Arora 94.4%.
