He said that 27 of the 32 ticket-seekers were on protest. The new candidate will be decided in a meeting of executive members here on
March 8.

Coming heavily on the AAP leadership, Gaur said that Balwinder Kaur's nomination was an example of nepotism her husband Gurnam Singh is
close to AAP supreme Arvind Kejriwal.

He said that party's working committee member Balbir Singh, who was sent here to meet the protesting workers, had accepted that their
demand was genuine, but maintained that it was not the right time to revolt.

Gaur described the nomination of Balwinder Kaur as the 'dictatorial' decision of Kejriwal.

Meanwhile, three other parallel BKU groups have decided to oppose Balwinder Kaur in the ensuing elections. Disclosing this here on Thursday, Guuny Parkash, president BKU (Sharad Joshi group) said that there were three groups of Kisan Union in Haryana - one led by him, another by Gassi Ram Nain as independent group and Sewa Singh Arya of Taket group. He said that BKU was a non-political organisation meant for the social cause of the farmers. He said that earlier also, Gurnam Singh had contested election of director of cooperative sugar mill and he lost as all the groups opposed him.
