Mother-daughter murder: Knife used in murder found from nullah

Police on Sunday claimed to have found the weapon which was allegedly used in the murder Usha Grover (48) and her 22-year-old daughter Heena last week.
Police said following the statement of the accused, Rishu Grover (27) of Tibba road, that he had used a knife to kill his aunt and cousin sister and later threw it into a nullah, police took him to the nullah and recovered the knife following the tips.
After recovering the knife, police said they took the accused to the spot of murder for further investigations, said police, adding where agitated residents attempted to thrash the accused but police controlled the situation.

Additional commissioner of police Neelambari Vijay Jagdale said the weapon used in the murder was recovered; however, residents were in anger after knowing identification of the accused.
